We’re Back: Scaling the Latam Climate Ecosystem

At Dalus Capital, we focus our investments on three specific verticals: Inclusion (fintech, healthtech, and edtech), Business Productivity (AI and SaaS), and Climate Innovation. While capital is a fundamental part of the equation for all three, we realized early on that climate innovation needed something extra—a dedicated space to build a community from the ground up. That is why we created the Latam Climate Innovation Summit in 2022. We wanted to provide a central meeting point for an ecosystem that was finally ready to take off.

Flyer for the third edition of the Latam Climate Innovation Summit 2026, powered by Dalus Capital. The central graphic is a stylized tree that merges technology and nature: its left side consists of dark, digital circuit-like branches, while the right side features green leaves. The text highlights the event date as May 26th in CDMX and includes logos for strategic partners: Deloitte, Tecnológico de Monterrey, JICA, and México Circular Hub 2026.

Since that first edition, the growth of the Latin American climate scene has been undeniable. Our second edition in 2024 was a major milestone, bringing together over 220 attendees and 70 startups from 12 different countries. Today, the momentum is even stronger. We aren’t just seeing “more” activity; we’re seeing a more professional and active ecosystem. There are more founders leaving established roles to build climate-tech companies, and there’s a much more active pool of investors—both local and international—ready to back them.

The region has moved past the stage of just talking about potential. We are now in a phase of real execution. The quality of the startups is higher, the business models are more robust, and investor interest is becoming more institutional. The “climate curious” phase is over; the “builder” phase is in full swing.

On May 26th, we are bringing this growing community back together in Mexico City for the third edition of the Summit. Our goal is to keep fueling this growth by connecting the founders, investors, and corporate leaders who are actually doing the work.

Whether you are building the technology, funding it, or looking to implement it within your organization, there are two ways to get involved:

1. For Startups: Pitch Your Solution If you’re a founder working on renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, climate fintech, or decarbonization, we want to see what you’re building. This is a chance to get your solution in front of the region’s most active investors and potential partners.

2. For Attendees: Join the Conversation The room will be filled with the people driving the climate agenda in Latin America. If you want to understand where the market is heading and meet the founders leading the way, secure your spot.

The scale of the climate challenge is massive, but the rapid growth of this ecosystem gives me plenty of reasons to be optimistic. I look forward to seeing the progress we’ve made together when we meet in CDMX this May. 🚀🌱

Hola! I am the lead/Founder of the Rising Leaders of Mexico. We have a few fellows that have submitted proposals. I wanted to take a moment to express thank you for this opportunity.

    1) Karime, Founder of Rearvora, has are strong belief that Mother Nature gave us fruits, vegetable and flowers that the entire item is a valuable resources, so when she sees scraps thrown out of peels, eggshells, avocados, etc., she makes skin care products. I have watched her NEVER miss an opportunity to network, learn from expert speakers. I was proud to watch her in action when I visited Tuluca to see her organize an event for the Chamber of Commerce for the state of Mexico to hear from entrepreneurs. She shined ans I watched everyone go to her oin some subject and she gave her heart and soul to every detail. When the president of the Chamber saw me walk up and give her the BIGGEST hug, he was ear-to-ear smiling to see our connection. She has a vision for her life and will always cherish every part of our natural resources.

    2) Jose, Founder of Group de la Tierra, is a circular invested Fellow. Once, I was worried about his earlier venture and I reached out to see how he was feeling and how could I help. His response was “I’ve been so excited to talk with you. We pivoted.” I am so proud. Regenerative agriculture is my other passion and I am always sharing his innovations with my peers in Boulder, CO. Wow!With the support of the Governor of the state of Mexico, I can’t wait for the results. As a new father, I am so full of joy that he will leave such a legacy for the next generation.

    3) Issac and Hugo co-partners of Hexa, are the perfect partners. They exude this warm, kind approach. They love their little critters. They are so proud that this insect can solve one of our “greatest threats” and repurpose to serve farmers and fisherman. The other good news is that these insects can be used in many regions of the country. They need heat, but many regions have the proper eco-system.

    4) Walter Founder of WAS is well on his way. My first introduction after he had just erected a library out of 98,000 waterbottles. At FLII, three years ago, he joined me in a meeting that I had with CEMEX. I was so lost. He shows up as such an expert and with a proud smile on his face. He had third-party sources and knew about each step from extraction of waste sites and repurpsing to building bricks. He thinks way into the future. as fast as he moves, I can call him and he getws back to me as soon as he finishes whatever he is working on. What an honor for me.

My goal for The Rising Leaders of Mexico is collaboration as a faster way to replicate and scale as they can rely on each other as they have the relationships in the communities, so their is no boundary to entry and they offer more job opportunities when they can work together using each others families and friends with new job skills and more job opportunities.

Please call me me with any questions you may have.

    Best, Robin
