We are excited to announce the release of the latest Latam Climate Startup Radar, a comprehensive mapping of over 400 startups across Latin America. This edition, unveiled at the recent second edition of the Latam Climate Innovation Summit organized by my fund Dalus Capital, reflects a 55% increase in startup representation, underscoring the region’s rapid growth in climate-focused innovation.
Key Highlights of the Radar:
- Agtech & Foodtech: Leading with 38% of the startups, this sector showcases advancements in sustainable agriculture and food production.
- Clean & Circular Economy: Comprising 14%, these startups focus on waste reduction and resource efficiency.
- Energy & Decarbonization: Also at 14%, this group is dedicated to renewable energy solutions and carbon reduction technologies.
- Watertech, Materials, and Resources: Making up 10%, this emerging sector addresses water management and sustainable material development.

The radar features startups from 16 countries, with Mexico leading at 32%, followed by Chile (20%), Brazil (16%), Argentina (15%), and Colombia (10%). This diverse representation highlights the widespread commitment to climate innovation across the region.
