Dalus invests in Cultura Colectiva

Logo-Cultura-largo-1.pngI’m very happy to report that we have closed the first investment of our Dalus Capital Fund II in a great company called Cultura Colectiva (check them out at culturacolectiva.com). They are a leading digital media platform providing their own high-quality content to millennials – young adults between 18 and 35 years old. Their content centers on lifestyle, culture, art, and other topics relevant to this target segment.

Cultura Colectiva, based on México City, is today one of the leading digital media companies in Mexico and Latin America. They serve a market of more than 150 million people in Latin America, generating monthly traffic of unique users in the range of 35 millions. Despite this huge market, only 6% of the 50 most-visited sites in Latin America target millennials,

Cultura Colectiva has 3 amazing co-founders – Jorge del Villar, Adolfo Cano and Luis Enriquez – that started the company less than 5 years ago. This is the first time they invite an external investor like us.

The potential of the company is huge as they speak in the language of millennials; something that traditional media has not learned how to do. The advertising spend is shifting quickly from traditional to new digital media, and most traditional players have struggled to adapt to that change.

I invite all of you to follow the channels of Cultura Colectiva – News, Art, Photography, Cinema, History, Literature, Music, Design, Lifestyle, Fashion, Travel and Technology – that match your interests in Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest. I’m sure you will enjoy their content.

Any company or brand interested in exploring opportunities to work with Cultura Colectiva, do not hesitate to contact me and I will connect you.
